Title: Unsonic
Artist: Xavier Willis / Xavier6 (XR66)
Publisher: Xtra Ad Service, Inc.
ISRC: USCGJ2443840
ASCAP Work ID: 923799827
Work duration: 212s (3:32), owner-declared
Download duration: 212s — supplied full-length master
Patent ref: USPTO Provisional #64/091,328 (owner-supplied reference; not independently verified)
Timestamp: OpenTimestamps anchoring reported by owner; proof file not supplied for this download

Declared work duration: 212 seconds (3:32). Supplied master for the Un1.wav download: 212 seconds, 44.1 kHz, 32-bit float stereo PCM; decoded samples are digital zero. Do not report 212 seconds unless that duration was actually used. The master contains no measured dither. Unique acoustic identity, alarm compatibility and a matching timestamp proof are not established.

// TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

What is digital silence, and is it 0 dBFS?

Digital silence contains zero-valued PCM samples and has a level of negative infinity dBFS. 0 dBFS is full scale, not silence. Dither adds low-level noise and is therefore not digital zero.

Can dithered silence prevent broadcast dead-air alarms?

Only if the signal satisfies the actual detector threshold, channel rules, and hold time throughout the playout chain. Low-level dither may still trigger a silence alarm. The current Un1.wav is digital zero; test off-air and keep normal failover protection enabled.

How should Unsonic appear on a cue sheet?

Credit Unsonic, Xavier Willis / Xavier6, Xtra Ad Service, Inc., ISRC USCGJ2443840, and ASCAP Work ID 923799827. Record the programme, air date, cue in/out, use type, and actual usage duration. Generated CSV/XML are generic drafts to map to the recipient’s current template; no submission or acceptance is implied.

Does Chromaprint verify a silent file or an OpenTimestamps proof?

Chromaprint / fpcalc calculates an acoustic fingerprint; it does not establish ownership or replace a cryptographic checksum. Silence can be ambiguous or yield no useful fingerprint. Compare SHA-256 for exact bytes, then verify a matching .ots proof separately. No proof file is supplied here.
